After learning of the well-earned retirement of Principal, Denise Kobza, Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is pleased to announce that Patti Pilsner has accepted the role of Principal for St. Teresa of Calcutta School, effective this coming 2023/2024 school year.

Mrs. Pilsner attained joint Bachelor's Degrees in Education and Management in 1996 from the University of Lethbridge. She went on to complete her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge 2010.

As an educator, Mrs. Pilsner brings over 25 years of experience. In 2012, she accepted the role of Associate Principal at Father Leonard Van Tighem, where she continues to dedicate her time and expertise.

“Mrs. Pilsner has long served as an educational leader in Holy Spirit,” states Superintendent Ken Sampson. “Her incredible skills in supporting student learning, alongside her intrinsic relationship building, will certainly benefit the learning community of St. Teresa of Calcutta School.”

Pilsner notes that she feels honoured and excited to have been appointed to St. Teresa of Calcutta School. “I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues, engaging with the families, and building positive relationships with the students to create a safe, supportive and enriching environment.”
